What Youll Do
- Set up and operate production equipment according to work instructions and standards
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as heaters, micrometers, and material dryers
- Perform and record quality checks to ensure consistent product standards
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, including full clean-up at end of shift
- Communicate clearly about work-in-progress and any issues affecting quality or workflow
- Follow core values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement
Skills Youll Use
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience with mechanical components such as breaker plates, screen packs, screws, and dies
- Operation of support systems including payoffs, take-ups, capstans, preheaters, and accumulators
- Familiarity with cross-head assembly, tips, and cleaning procedures
- Ability to use quality assurance tools such as diameter controls, spark testers, gauges, and indicators
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong work history with proven safety, quality, and attendance record
- Basic math skills and ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on equipment experience
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, kneeling, reaching) for extended periods
