Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-26 school year serving K-12 students across multiple elementary schools in the Colorado Springs area. This contract position offers a dynamic caseload structure with both school-based and part-time in-home service components, tailored to support pediatric speech and language development within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services including assessments, individualized education program (IEP) development, and both direct and indirect student support.
  • Manage a caseload of students across multiple schools, delivering services aligned with district standards and student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to ensure effective communication strategies and goals are met.
  • Participate in district-mandated meetings and maintain accurate documentation consistent with school policies.
  • Deliver services within designated therapy spaces and conduct home visits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado SLP license and appropriate teaching certification issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in schools, healthcare, or early intervention preferred.
  • Ability to administer evaluations and develop IEPs with a caseload or workload approach.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sites and coordinate itinerant caseload responsibilities.
  • Comfort with participating in interviews either via Zoom or in-person on a flexible schedule.

Location & Schedule:

  • Full-time positions available (two openings), 37.5 hours per week focused on elementary school caseload.
  • Part-time in-home service opportunities supplementing school-based work.
  • Services will be delivered throughout multiple K-12 school settings across Colorado Springs, Colorado.
