Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for opening bundles of materials, sorting stock, confirming dimensions, and preparing materials for shearing. The role involves operating and setting up various machinery including Press Brake, Turret, and a new laser system. You'll ensure that all products meet or exceed specified drawings and quality standards, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Open bundles of materials with cutters, sort stock, and confirm size and thickness.
- Place material on the shear infeed table for shearing.
- Operate and set up Press Brake, Turret, and new laser equipment.
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure quality finished products.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Measure dimensions and compare them to drawing specifications.
- Complete and pass a basic mathematics test.
- Comply with safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Perform a wide range of physical activities including pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, balancing, and kneeling.
Essential Skills
- 6+ months of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics functions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Tape Measure, Shear, Saw, Fabrication, Machine operation, Sheet metal, Press brake, and Sheet metal fabrication.
- Skills in Blueprint reading, Mig welding, Production, Grinding, and Assembly.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
