As an Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing in vivo studies using mouse lung inflammation and allorejection models. This role involves processing organs for immune cell isolation and analysis, maintaining and expanding cells, and evaluating them using in vitro assays. You will analyze data using biological and statistical software, work closely with teams across the organization, and document experimental procedures and results.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
- Proficiency in in vivo assays, dosing, and injections.
- BS/MS degree with 1 to 3 years of industry experience.
- Training in proper handling and care of mice.
- Collection of blood and tissue samples.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in tissue culture, cell-based assays, and flow cytometry is desirable.
- Familiarity with in vitro techniques and flow cytometry.
Work Environment
Join a highly collaborative Immunology & Inflammation Team focused on respiratory biology and immunology. Engage in cutting-edge immunological research contributing to human health at every stage of drug discovery and development. Support a broad pipeline in immune and inflammatory diseases by executing in vivo experiments and in vitro assays. Work in a vivarium and laboratory environment onsite five days a week from 8 am to 5 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Tarrytown, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
