Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – On-Site | Wyoming, DE | Contract | Full-Time
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Wyoming, Delaware, providing therapy services, evaluations, and individualized education program (IEP) support during the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) offers the opportunity to work directly with students to support their communication and language development within an educational setting.
Location:Wyoming, Delaware (On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services tailored to student needs
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and write IEPs according to student goals and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Collect and document progress monitoring data regularly
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and documentation using systems such as Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware licensure/certification as an SLP is required (verification necessary)
- Experience working as a school-based SLP with a thorough understanding of special education processes
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and IEP development
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site full-time
- Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification are not being considered at this time
