  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, field-based project environment.

Work Environment

This is a primarily field-based role with work performed on project sites throughout the state of Kentucky, supported by a central office in Shelbyville. The engineer will typically report to the Shelbyville office each morning and then travel to project locations in a company truck with other team members; there is potential to operate a company truck independently in the future. Most assignments involve day travel only, allowing the engineer to return home at the end of the workday. The role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, performing hands-on materials testing and soil sampling, and using standard geotechnical and construction testing equipment.
