AGE Solutions is seeking an Inventory Specialist to provide asset management, inventory control, shipping, and warehouse support for a Local Area Network (LAN) engineering team. The selected candidate will work daily from a customer facility in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage analysis and performance monitoring of the effectiveness and execution of asset control procedures.
- Ensure accountability and proper tracking mechanisms are used to conform to expected organizational standards and goals. Identify and implement solutions to problematic areas of the asset control process.
- Verify the accuracy of the data recorded/updated in the IT Asset Management System (ITAMS).
- Draft correspondence, as required.
- Ensure accuracy of ITAMS data, making sure anomalies are identified and addressed immediately. Reconcile all balances regularly and submit accurate, auditable financial year-end inventory reports.
- Perform physical inventories.
- Manage customer LAN hardware and software assets.
- Support the receipt, transfer, storage, and shipping of goods.
- Support the creation and submission of asset procurement packages.
- Support the full asset lifecycle from procurement to decommission.
- Ensure the execution of tasks according to customer SOPs and established practices as well as direction provided by the Program Manager.
- Provide regular reports to management concerning asset inventories, status, etc.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have a current DoD Secret Clearance and/or adjudicated T3/NACLC investigation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with a variety of government and contract personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Asset management and/or warehouse experience in a DoD environment.
- Experience supporting network engineering contracts.
- Experience using ServiceNow (SNOW).
- Advanced capability with Microsoft Excel.
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs of equipment.
- Must be able to work for extended periods at a computer.
- Must be able to complete asset inventories in a warehouse environment, transition from standing to seated working positions as required to accomplish tasks.
Compensation: $40,000+
