A healthcare facility in Gastonia, NC is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to provide expert radiation therapy services on a contract basis, starting November 3rd. This role involves working with advanced Varian Truebeam and Aria systems, contributing to a busy outpatient department treating 60100 cancer patients daily across three machines.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise radiation treatments to ambulatory cancer patients.
- Operate and maintain Varian Truebeam and Aria radiation therapy equipment.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and ply with all departmental protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in radiation therapy.
- Certification as a Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Willingness to work with outpatient ambulatory cancer patients.
