About the Role
A leading global manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join its team in the Nanuet, NY area. This role is a key liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring accurate order processing and exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
- Process, track, and manage customer orders from entry through delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, production, logistics, and quality
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates or issues to customers
- Maintain accurate records, pricing, and product information in internal systems
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and general administrative support
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or a related industry
- Must be fully proficient with SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
