Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week
\n• Rotating weekend schedule required
\n• No call requirements
\n• 13-26 week assignment length
\n• Minimum 2-3 years ICU experience required
\n• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
\n• Preferred experience: MICU & MSICU background, IABP exposure, CRRT exposure
\n• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
\n• Meditech experience preferred
\n• Perform procedures including chest tubes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
\n• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
\n• Must badge in and out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break
\n• Clock in time: 6:38 AM/PM (after 6:45 considered tardy)
\n• Strong critical thinking skills required
