Job DescriptionFURNITURE INSTALLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for dependable Commercial Furniture Installers to join a crew working with a company in Baton Rouge. If you’re comfortable using hand and power tools, can read blueprints and floor plans ease, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be a great fit for you.
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours Varies depending on assignment; most start times range between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
Furniture Installer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with building and installing office or commercial furniture by carefully following detailed instructions and project specifications.
• Read and interpret floor plans and layouts to ensure that all furniture is placed correctly and fits the designated space properly.
• Safely and properly use both hand tools and power tools throughout the installation process.
• Work with the same crew on a regular basis to help keep projects running smoothly and prevent delays.
• Maintain neat, accurate, and consistent work from start to finish on every assignment.

Furniture Installer Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand floor plans and visualize how furniture should be arranged within a space.
• Must know how to accurately read a tape measure, as precise measurements are essential for this role.
• Must have basic tools; a specific tool list will be provided.
• Must have reliable transportation and maintain strong attendance and punctuality.
• Previous experience in installation, construction, carpentry, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently when needed while also communicating effectively and working well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete builds accurately without rushing.
