Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of current Cath Lab experience and Ohio State licensure. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of travel experience. The role requires working collaboratively with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional radiologic care during cardiac catheterization procedures.
Location:
Jackson, Ohio Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility, offering a chance to work in a supportive hospital setting while possibly exploring new communities with flexible travel arrangements.
Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- One weekend per month and two evenings per week on call with a 45-minute response time
- 40 hours guaranteed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional patient care within the Cath Lab environment using radiologic techniques
- Assist in diagnostic and emergent cardiac catheterization procedures, including Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support
- Scrub, monitor, and document multiple procedural modalities across Cath, Peripheral, and Electrophysiology labs
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and patient families to optimize patient outcomes
- Make independent and team-based clinical decisions regarding patient care
- Report directly to the Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Ohio State licensure (required)
- ARRT certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab experience
- At least 1 year of travel Cath Lab experience preferred
