Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support services in an elementary school setting. The role is based onsite in Montgomery, TX, specifically serving one elementary campus with a caseload of 60-80 students. This contract position requires a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and offers 32 hours per week spread over four days.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct speech and language therapy to students
  • Conducting evaluations and participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
  • Collaborating with the schools multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate caseload documentation
  • Supporting the speech-language pathologist in therapy planning and intervention

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification or license suitable for school settings
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy services within a school environment
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 60-80 students efficiently
  • Strong understanding of educational speech and language interventions, evaluations, and legal compliance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to onsite work with reliable attendance
