Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Radiology Technologist with a strong background in high-acuity hospital settings. The role focuses on performing imaging procedures while utilizing computer systems for data management and quality monitoring.

Location: Shawnee, KS

Position Type: Contract
Schedule:

  • 10.5-hour evening shifts
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
  • 11:00 AM 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic imaging procedures across four attached buildings equipped with x-ray technology
  • Use computer systems to conduct patient testing and retrieve data for quality and performance tracking
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during imaging
  • Participate in an 8-hour orientation at the Kansas City campus during the first week

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year recent Radiology Tech experience in a high-acuity hospital environment
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiology Technology program
  • Valid Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) certification held from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) at time of application
  • ARRT certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Proficient with computer systems for data entry and quality monitoring

Additional Details:

  • No weekend, on-call, or regular holiday shifts; holiday coverage as needed
  • Facility is nicotine-free
  • Bi-weekly pay cycles
  • Two client cancellations allowed per month with minimum two hours notice and no pay for those cancellations
