We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Payroll Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting payroll operations by processing employee time records, maintaining payroll data, and assisting with payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and eager to learn payroll processes and regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Review and enter employee time and attendance records.
  • Assist with payroll processing and payroll data entry.
  • Verify payroll information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and confidential information.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping.
  • Process payroll-related forms and documentation.
  • Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and report preparation.
  • Support compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
  • Work closely with Human Resources and Accounting departments.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or data entry experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn payroll systems and processes.
