This position provides both full-time and part-time roles for Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) within a trauma surgical unit, delivering direct care to patients of all ages. Key responsibilities encompass patient evaluation, care planning, execution, and collaboration with various departments, all in accordance with nursing standards and organizational values. Engage in direct patient care activities for individuals across all age ranges, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Oversee and coordinate patient care efforts with ancillary departments to enhance patient comfort and care quality. Operate within the nursing scope of practice, adhering to established guidelines, the goals of our organization, the philosophy of our founding principles, the relevant State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. ➤ Stay Pay Program - Earn an additional $2/hr during productive hours (24/7 bedside eligible position) at your 2, 5, 10, and 20-year anniversaries (up to $8/hr)

➤ LPN to RN Bridge Program Support

➤ RN to BSN Bridge Program (up to $16,000)

➤ Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 annually for continuing education

Qualifications for RNs:

  • Required Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution; BSN preferred

  • Licensure: Must possess a current RN Temporary Permit or RN license in the State of Missouri

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association

Qualifications for LPNs:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Preferred Experience: 1 year of LPN experience

  • Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable educational experience and successful licensure. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the state where nursing duties are performed, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements

  • Certifications:

    • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire

    • LPN-IV Certification must be completed prior or within 3 months of hire
