Daily Pool Care
-
Test and balance pool/spa water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness).

Perform routine cleaning including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and tile scrubbing.

Inspect, backwash, and clean filters, pumps, and circulation systems.

Equipment & System Maintenance

Monitor and maintain pumps, heaters, chlorinators, and other pool equipment.

Report malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.

Schedule and track preventive maintenance.

Safety & Compliance
-
Ensure pools meet local, state, and federal safety and health regulations.

Maintain accurate records of chemical readings and maintenance logs.

Post and monitor pool safety signage.

Guest & Resident Service
-
Respond to guest or resident inquiries regarding pool use.
-
Report any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.

Provide friendly, professional customer service in a resort/community setting.

Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training in pool operations preferred).
-
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license strongly preferred (or ability to obtain).

1-2 years of experience in pool/spa maintenance, facilities, or related field.

Knowledge of pool water chemistry, circulation systems, and safety standards.

Ability to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform physical tasks.

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
