The Senior Technology Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs and documentation for a variety of software applications, including proprietary systems and commercial tools. This role focuses on instructor-led training, digital learning solutions, and supporting end-users through effective instructional design and communication.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Development & Delivery

• Plan, develop, and deliver instructor-led training sessions for commercial and proprietary software applications
• Design and create engaging learning materials including manuals, guides, and presentations
• Develop video-based and interactive training content

Instructional Design

• Create instructional modules aligned with adult learning principles
• Develop quick reference guides, job aids, and web-based training content
• Ensure training materials are clear, effective, and user-friendly

Project Coordination

• Manage training projects from initiation through completion
• Track progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure quality and timely execution
• Coordinate with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Communication & Reporting

• Provide regular updates on training plans, progress, and outcomes
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align training objectives

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Identify user challenges and implement effective training solutions
• Continuously improve training content and delivery methods
• Provide support for adoption of new tools and technologies

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering instructor-led training (in-person and/or virtual)
• Strong background in adult learning methodologies
• Experience creating training content for both commercial and proprietary software
• Proficiency with training development tools such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, or similar
• Experience managing training projects end-to-end
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously

Technical Knowledge

• Microsoft Office tools including Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, and Copilot
• Development of technical documentation (e.g., quick reference guides, job aids, web content)
• Creation of video and interactive training materials
• Troubleshooting user issues and delivering effective solutions
• Customer service best practices when working with stakeholders and SMEs
