Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for a K-12 public school located in Reading, PA. This role is a contract opportunity for the full school year, serving students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Develop intervention plans based on assessment results
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student needs and support strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Monitor student progress and make data-driven recommendations
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing methods and special education processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload and prioritize workload effectively
