Job Title: Site Inspector III
Location: Midland, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5/2Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Inspector III to join our Project Inspection Quality Assurance Team. In this role, you will monitor, assess, and verify quality inspection activities performed by EPC Contractors to ensure that all equipment and materials meet specification, quality, and statutory requirements. You will serve as a technical resource to prevent and resolve quality issues, working closely with contractors to ensure successful implementation of approved quality plans and control procedures.Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to site teams to prevent or resolve quality issues
- Participate in kick-off, pre-inspection, and alignment meetings
- Confirm readiness to work by reviewing and evaluating key documents
- Monitor contractors’ and suppliers’ quality assurance/control activities
- Assess quality processes and procedures for compliance and effectiveness
- Perform inspections and verifications during construction and fabrication activities according to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Witness contractor activities and endorse quality records as appropriate
- Oversee acceptance testing and perform final quality checks before approving materials and equipment
- Manage non-conformance issues within scope of responsibility
- Provide early warnings of potential quality concerns to prevent delays or cost overruns
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Technical discipline certifications appropriate to work experience
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance/control for engineering, procurement, or construction activities
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally to project sites as needed
- Strong ability to work within teams, adapt quickly, and follow project specifications
- Proven ability to integrate with project teams and contribute effectively to quality management efforts
