Semitruck Driver |
We are looking for a CDL driver with Class A, doubles/triples, tanker, and manual transmission endorsements. Twic card for ports and passport for possible Canada loads, driver must be able to be out for 2-3 weeks at a time. *Sleeping in the truck/sleeper
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods over long and short distances
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Book Own loads
-Must have at least 5 years hauling in the flatbed and heavy haul industry.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements, Class A,
-Must have at least 5 years hauling in the flatbed and heavy haul industry.
-Must pass a pre-hire DOT physical without needing a 6 month recheck.
-Needs to pass a background check with no DOT violations in the past 3 years, no DUI or felonies.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
- Strong navigation and route planning skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities, Reliable
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading cargo
- Flexibility to work various shifts and extended hours as needed
- Tarping , Chains, Get own Permits as needed.
