Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in a school environment located in Cloquet, MN. This position involves providing specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities, helping to foster their academic, social, and emotional growth. The role includes travel to various school sites, enabling diverse learning experiences and collaboration with educational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student assessments and educational goals.
  • Deliver specialized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust instruction strategies as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between school locations as required.
