Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer I/Systems Test Engineer I – PCIG Systems for a contract with a client in Maple Grove, MN. The role involves developing test equipment for design verification and supporting lab activities to evaluate medical devices using simulated clinical environments.

Rate Range: $30/hour to 38.72/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Engineer I/Systems Test Engineer I – PCIG Systems job responsibilities include:

Support design verification activities by developing and executing test methods and equipment to ensure product requirements are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate medical devices using simulated clinical environments and additive manufacturing techniques.
Document technical procedures and rationale to provide evidence of the development and testing process.
Apply quality tools and statistical techniques to support validation, usability testing, and regulatory compliance.
Assist in resolving quality issues using systematic problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.
Maintain compliance with quality systems and standards such as ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 throughout product development.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in biomedical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in design assurance, product development, or a regulated industry.
Hands-on lab experience and familiarity with additive manufacturing and test equipment development.
Understanding of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and design controls within a medical device or regulated environment.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.72 per hour
