Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite contract position at an elementary school. This opportunity spans from December 8 to May 22, offering the chance to support the academic, social, and emotional development of a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students learning needs and behavioral challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of special education eligibility determinations
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and support positive student outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential/licensure
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education processes, and evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school personnel
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain detailed documentation
