Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled School Psychologist is needed for travel assignments in various schools throughout Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves providing assessment, counseling, and intervention services to support the academic and emotional development of students within diverse educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing student counseling
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel to multiple school locations within Salt Lake City, UT
