PRIMARY FUNCTION: Participates actively as part of the treatment team by facilitating psychosocial and psychoeducational groups for members and completing daily documentation.

Shift: Monday through Friday: (9 am – 3 pm – ½ hour unpaid lunch included)

Essential Functions include:

1. Develop and lead scheduled groups as designated by the Senior Counselor and Director of Clinical and Vocational Rehabilitation
2. Provide supportive counseling of members, during group time
3. Conduct ongoing communication with primary Rehabilitation Counselors
4. Provide supervision of students and/or volunteers assigned to the group
5. Order supplies necessary for the program with the approval of the Director of Clinical and Vocational Rehabilitation
6. Complete daily group notes and any other required documentation at the time of service (same day) in the Electronic Health Record system
7. Complete training in a timely manner
8. Participate in all staff and treatment team meetings as required
9. Other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Director of Clinical and Vocational Rehabilitation

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA in Human Services preferred
• Two (2) years of experience with adults in mental health settings and/or 2 years of education towards an associate or bachelor's degree in a mental health field program is required.
