Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Kent, OH
Pay: $18/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team in Kent, OH. This role is responsible for supporting daily laboratory operations, conducting routine testing, and ensuring accurate documentation of results. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare samples, materials, and lab equipment for testing
- Accurately record and document test results and observations
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment
- Assist with quality control processes and ensure compliance with company standards
- Communicate findings and any irregularities to supervisors
- Support additional lab functions and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred (Chemistry, Biology, etc.)
- Prior laboratory experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and standardized procedures
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
