Job DescriptionSalary: $55,000-$65,000 Annually

Position Overview: As a Finance and Operations Specialist, you are responsible for a series of tasks that assist with the business's books and records, daily operations, and long-term projects for the department. Your role is key in our ability to offer clients the highest level of service. At times, you will be required to pivot your focus from ongoing projects to tasks that need immediate attention. Your ability to be dynamic and flexible is a must for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and issue invoices and commitments within Sage Intacct for all revenue streams.
  • Perform AR cash application and billing adjustments as needed within Versapay and Sage Intacct.
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone regarding payments and operational product issues.
  • Provision product sales within software publisher portals.
  • Review accounting and transaction data related to billings and collections within our Tech Stack environments.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Operations and team members to resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Maintain and analyze key performance indicators to ensure operational efficiency within our Tech Stack solutions.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as they arise throughout the year.

Skills Required:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience and general understanding of bookkeeping or general accounting highly desirable
  • Experience and general understanding of billing and invoicing are highly desired
  • Experience and general understanding of collections and payment applications are highly desired
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with good follow-up and follow-through on assigned tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or computer science, business administration, information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent strongly preferred but not required
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and Salesforce CRM are pluses
