Job DescriptionRole Summary
One Kare Enterprise, LLC (One Kare), a longstanding DC-based groundskeeping and landscape maintenance firm, is hiring a Grounds and Landscaping Senior Manager to oversee grounds maintenance and landscaping services with multiple crews throughout the DC area and act as a central point of contact for One Kare's government clients. The Grounds and Landscaping Senior Manager will oversee planning, staffing, scheduling, quality control, safety, reporting, and client coordination to ensure services are delivered consistently, on time, and in accordance with contract requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years overseeing grounds maintenance and landscaping services across multiple crews in multiple locations.
- Communication: Proficient in speaking and writing English.
- Experience with government contracting, preferably as a project manager
- DC-based or able to consistently commute into DC
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as One Kares primary client-facing representative and oversee day-to-day service execution.
- Manage government contract requirements, including reporting, documentation, compliance deliverables, and coordination with designated representatives.
- Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, and staffing plans aligned to service frequencies and seasonal needs.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials across sites; use technological tools like AI-metric gathering and web-based applications to monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance.
- Implement One Kare quality assurance practices; conduct routine inspections and drive corrective actions.
- Track performance metrics and produce clear status updates, service documentation, and issue-resolution plans.
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers as needed, ensuring alignment with One Kare standards and contract requirements.
