Location: Syracuse, NY 13215
Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday
Pay Rate:
- Local: $45 – $47/hour
- Travel: $52 – $54/hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Surgical/Operating Room Technician to join a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub experience and a solid background across multiple surgical specialties, with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and healthcare staff
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience (within the last 4 years)
- Experience in an acute care facility (Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center or teaching hospital preferred)
- Strong scrub experience required
