Customer Support Specialist

A full-time Customer Support Specialist position is available at RetreReady Solutions® to help assist our customers with technical problems when using our software.
Customer Support Specialist responsibilities include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding product users through features and functionalities. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to earn our clients’ trust.
Ultimately, you will help establish our reputation as a company that offers excellent customer support during all sales and after-sales procedures.
1. Responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone or email
- Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features
- Provide user training of software via web conferencing
- Provide answers to clients by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding clients through corrective steps
- Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios and new releases)
- Update our CRM with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers
- Note feature requests and effective workarounds with team members
- Inform customers about new features and functionalities
- Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
- Gather customer feedback and share with our product, sales and marketing teams
- Other duties and/or responsibilities as may be assigned
2. Requirements
- Self-motivated and positive attitude
- Experience as a customer support specialist or similar role
- Experience using CRM (preferred Salesforce) and remote support tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Great organizing and task management skills
- Patience when handling tough cases and disgruntled customers
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or similar work experience
- Familiarity with financial services is a plus
3. Compensation
- Based on experience
- Employee Assistant Program (fully paid for by the employer) and Healthcare Co-Op (funded mostly by the employer)
- Two weeks paid vacation after one year, regular holidays, and accrued sick leave
- 401(k) matching plan after one year
