Compensation: $100-120k + 15%

Location: Jersey Village, TX (Houston area) – hybrid 3 days in office, 2 WFH


Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day HR operations while partnering with leadership to implement key people initiatives. This role is ideal for a mid-level HR professional who brings strong emotional intelligence, discretion, and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving business environment. The HRBP will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective talent management, employee relations, and HR program execution.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruiting efforts with external agencies, including candidate screenings and interview scheduling
  • Draft and maintain job descriptions and prepare offer letters
  • Lead new hire orientation sessions focused on company culture, processes, and goal-setting (excluding administrative onboarding paperwork)

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, handling routine and low-complexity cases
  • Support employee terminations and documentation processes, escalating more complex issues as appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee situations

Leave & Compliance Administration

  • Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA and other applicable policies
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation cases and ensure compliance with regulations

HR Programs & Performance Management

  • Support implementation of corporate HR initiatives such as performance reviews, talent management, and talent review processes
  • Partner with leadership to reinforce consistent HR practices and policies

Payroll & Benefits Support

  • Perform payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing as needed, including use of ADP systems
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries


Required Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of progressive HR experience
  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and ADP platforms
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration
  • Strong understanding of employee relations practices and HR compliance
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and emotional maturity
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Conversational Spanish proficiency
