Early Childhood Teacher

Tiny Tides Childcare – Middleboro, MA

Tiny Tides Childcare is a nurse-led, family-owned early education center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Our program is built on the belief that small class sizes, strong relationships, and thoughtful learning experiences help children grow with confidence.

We are currently seeking a warm, reliable, and passionate Early Childhood Teacher who enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a supportive team.

Position Summary

The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Teachers guide daily routines, support play-based learning, and build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

This position must meet teacher qualification requirements set by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children at all times
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities that support learning through play
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Follow daily schedules including learning activities, meals, rest time, and outdoor play
• Communicate professionally with families regarding their child’s day and development
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and center leadership
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Maintain classroom documentation and required records
• Support the mission and values of Tiny Tides Childcare

Qualifications

• Must meet Teacher qualification standards through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC)
• EEC Teacher Certification (Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool preferred)
• Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing classroom environment
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
