We are a well-established company with a growing newer clinic in the Mt Laurel area, having served our community for many years. Due to our exceptional reputation amongst our patients and referrers alike we are continuing to expand and are looking for our next team member to support our office needs. The role will start as part time (about 20 hours per week) with the potential to become full time down the road.
You will never be bored with our diverse cases (e.g. sign language, speech language needs, private clients, school contracts, reading tutors) as well as opportunities to support social media, and brainstorming new avenues to grow the practice.

The PCC will be responsible for:
- Perform daily administrative coordination of patients through scheduling evaluations and therapy sessions, ongoing communication with patients, therapists, and management; entering patients into our EMR system.
- Prepare new patient charts in our EMR system; obtain all necessary patient documents.
- Request and obtain prior authorizations for all patients; track when updated prior authorizations need to be requested.
- Send completed reports to patients under the direction of the Practice Manager.
- Collect copayments, co-insurance payment, and deductible payments from all necessary patients.
- Enter data and documentation in EMR system as well as any and all practice logs/folders.
- Assist with any patient billing inquiries for visits.
- Provide administrative support to therapists and Practice Manager as needed regarding correspondence, patient record, documentation, and office administrative information.
- Assist as needed with additional administrative functions including scanning, faxing, emailing, copying patient records.
- Perform front desk functions and patient assistance via check in and check out; answer practice telephone.
Qualifications for Patient Care Coordinator
- Proven experience working in an administrative position in a clinical or medical setting
- Strong understanding of healthcare administration and office tasks
- Familiar with software for healthcare systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service with a patient focus
- Preferred—strong writing and editing skills
- Experience in billing
- Knowledge of Google Suite preferred
