The Business Development Representative will play a key role for a heavy equipment company within a medium-sized team, driving growth by engaging with mid-market companies. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the representative will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and support sales initiatives. The role involves local travel to meet clients and expand market presence.


Salary - base plus commission


Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities targeting mid-market companies
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager and team members to align on sales strategies
  • Conduct local travel to meet prospective and existing clients
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate service offerings
  • Track and report on sales activity and pipeline status

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business development
  • Background in sales roles with demonstrated success
