\n\nICU Travel Nurse Job Details\n

• Location: South Charleston, WV 25309\n
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (November 16, 2025 – February 15, 2026)\n
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 pm – 7:15 am), three shifts per week\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
• Holiday Requirement: Rotational with core staff\n
• Charting System: EPIC\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or Critical Care nursing experience\n
• Previous travel nursing experience required\n
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required\n
• Preferred: PALS, TNCC, and experience with CRRT, IABP, or Impella\n
• Proficient in titrating critical drips (e.g., vasopressors, sedation)\n
• Willingness to float to Stepdown, Med-Surg/Telemetry, or Emergency Department as needed\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients\n
• Monitor and manage invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic equipment\n
• Care for patients with complex diagnoses, including sepsis, acute MI, renal failure, post-vascular procedures, stroke, TIA, seizures, ARDS, and more\n
• Manage ventilators, lumbar drains, and titrate critical drips (Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin, etc.)\n
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams\n
• Float to Stepdown or other units as required, managing a full patient load when necessary\n
• Participate in orientation, complete skills checklists, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and dress code\n
