Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available in an elementary school setting in Winston-Salem, NC. This contract role is for the current school year and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education (SPED) Certification is required.
• Experience working with elementary students in a special education capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify lesson plans to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning special education.

Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
