Hire Connections is partnering with a global investment firm located in the Denver area to find a proactive and driven Administrative Assistant who is eager to grow into an Executive Assistant role. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a dynamic investment team and gain hands-on experience supporting a Portfolio Manager and senior staff in a high-performance environment.
We’re looking for a strong administrator who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and ready to take their career to the next level in executive support.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Portfolio Manager and investment team
- Assist with calendar scheduling and meeting coordination, learning to manage shifting priorities smoothly
- Act as a liaison for internal and external contacts, developing professional communication skills
- Help with office operations such as ordering lunches, managing supplies, and coordinating deliveries
- Support the coordination of travel and team events, with the opportunity to take ownership of logistics over time
- Assist in processing expense reports and tracking team purchases
- Partner with off-site IT and Facilities teams to address local tech and workspace needs
- Help onboard new hires and maintain a welcoming, well-run office environment
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Ideal Background & Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is ready to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will bring:
- 2–5 years of administrative or office coordination experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- A proactive mindset and desire to take initiative
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, professional office environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support when needed

Salary: $70k-90k/yr based on experience
