Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Travel)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:
Night Shift
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 Hours Per Week (3 Shifts/Week)
Rotating Weekends
Rotating Holidays

Pay Rate: $73 - $81/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.

• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.

• Assist with labor support, delivery procedures, and postpartum care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

• Communicate critical patient updates to physicians and healthcare teams.

• Support patient education, including childbirth and postpartum guidance.

• Assume charge nurse and resource nurse responsibilities when needed.

• Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies.

• Provide exceptional patient care and service to patients and families.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Active Massachusetts RN License.

• BLS certification.

• ACLS certification.

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

• Fetal Monitor certification (updated every 2 years).

• Successful completion of a pharmacology exam.

• Recent OB/Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years.

• Strong maternal-fetal assessment skills.

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• CPI certification.
