Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift travel assignment at a reputable hospital in Goodyear Heights, Ohio. This position requires strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience, the ability to float, and recent Epic EMR experience.

This assignment is to cover a cancellation and is 9 weeks only; however, strong performers may be considered for an extension.

Requirements

Active RN license

BLS certification (required)

2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience (required)

Recent Epic EMR experience within the last year (required)

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Must be willing to float

Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Solid black scrubs required

Time Off Policy

RTO must be submitted at the time of submission

Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed

Requests exceeding 7 days will be automatically rejected

Block scheduling requests will not be accommodated and will result in rejection if listed

Additional Information

No on-call requirements

No start or completion bonuses

36-bed unit – Beds indicate patients are admitted and stay overnight.

• 24/7 nursing care – Continuous coverage is typical of inpatient care.
• Patients require hospitalization or nursing intervention – Suggests they are not just coming for a short visit, but need ongoing monitoring and treatment.
• 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratios – Standard for inpatient floors, not outpatient clinics.
• Fast-paced with varied patient assignments – Consistent with inpatient floors handling multiple types of admitted patients.
