Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - School

Location: Aurora, CO
Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration: 30 Weeks

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join a school-based team in Aurora, CO. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while supporting students’ academic and social development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions

• Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

• Provide guidance to staff and caregivers on communication strategies

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school guidelines

• Stay updated on best practices and professional standards in speech-language pathology

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Current Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License

• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of IEP processes and evidence-based interventions
