Role: Staff Senior Accountant QuickBooks (Contract)

Hiring Type: 1 year contract

Location: Alexandria VA

Office Schedule : On site 5x a week

Pay: $33 - $39 / Hour

Our client in the Event/ Marketing Place is in need of a Staff Senior Accountant for a year long contract . Candidates MUST have QuickBooks online and For profit accounting experience.

Requirements

· QuickBooks Online

· End to end full-cycle accounting

· Preparation of financial statements

· Experience working with balance sheets

· For-profit accounting

Job Description:

· Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close

· Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with supporting schedules

· Assist with revenue recognition, accruals, and expense analysis

· Partner with leadership on financial reporting, audit preparation, and process improvements
