Position Title: Electrician - Mine - Underground
Location: Randolph, MO

Shift: 3rd Shift (Night Shift)

Position Description:
Local Kansas City specifically RANDOLPH MISSOURI the UNDERGROUND MINE position. It’s underground in a mine & it’s 3rd shift.
Kansas City Service: local
Overnight Randolph MO: this is underground in the mines 3rd shift.
The mines are under ground, there is no cell service down there (there are land lines for emergency calls) it’s dusty, dark with artificial lights, if you are claustrophobic or need windows, it’s just not for everyone. We have electrical stations through out the mines they would be working on.
Before you submit a candidate make sure you go over this and they are on board – over night work 3rd shift in the mines in Randolph MO – once hired they would drive straight to the work site no need to go to our office first this is where they are working.
They also qualify for a company truck so they do not have to drive their own vehicle. It’s about a mile steep drive down into the work area.
-Type of work (for Randolph):
* Megging wires/motors.
*troubleshooting control wiring/motor controls.
*assisting in plant startup.
*running power/testing
*troubleshoot medium voltage wire/gear
Environment:
*underground mine rock quarry.
*dark dusty muddy environment.
*heavy industrial setting.
-Need to be electricians preferably with heavy industrial/plant experience.
-Any MSHA training would be beneficial as well as osha 10 but not necessary.
-Based out of Martina Marietta's Randolph Deep Mine.
Managed by Lenexa office. Need to drive from house to jobsite during work week.
