Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting large structural carbon pieces such as I-beams and other large components for skids. You will utilize hand tools and measuring equipment, along with tack welding techniques, to ensure precision and quality in your work.
Responsibilities
- Fit large structural carbon pieces, including I-beams and other components for skids.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring equipment for precise fitting.
- Perform tack welding to secure components.
- Ensure all structural fittings meet quality standards.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience as a structural fitter in a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in fitting I-beams, square tubing, and skids.
- Ability to perform tack welding.
- Competence in using all hand tools and measuring tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a non-climate controlled manufacturing shop environment.

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled, focusing on day shifts from 6AM to 6PM. The environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX 77051.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
