Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support a K-12 school caseload in Whitehall, PA. This contract position offers a chance to contribute to student development and well-being within an educational setting. The role requires a passion for pediatric care and collaboration with school teams to enhance students' occupational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and document progress according to school policies
- Participate in team meetings and support the schools therapeutic goals
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Pennsylvania state OT license
- Experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and communicate effectively with students and school personnel
