Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
(General / Production Environment)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating industrial sewing equipment to assemble, alter, or repair fabric-based products while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single-needle, double-needle, overlock, coverstitch, etc.)
- Read and follow work orders, patterns, and production instructions
- Sew materials according to specifications and quality standards
- Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy
- Maintain consistent production output and meet daily quotas
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred
- Ability to work with different fabrics and materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Dependable with good time management skills
Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Job Summary
The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing heavy-duty materials such as canvas, vinyl, leather, or technical textiles used in industrial or commercial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty industrial sewing machines
- Sew thick or layered materials accurately and efficiently
- Adjust machine settings based on fabric type and job requirements
- Measure, cut, and align materials before sewing
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Follow all workplace safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 1+ years of industrial or heavy-duty sewing experience preferred
- Experience with walking foot or programmable machines a plus
- Ability to lift materials and perform repetitive motions
- Basic mechanical aptitude
Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
(Entry-Level / Trainable)
Job Summary
