Dipping Department Technician (Second Shift)

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:45 PM (includes two breaks and a dinner period)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable Dipping Department Technician to support our vacuum impregnation process on electrical units. This position involves operating ovens, monitoring vacuum systems, chemical processing, and ensuring consistent quality in the impregnation process. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a manufacturing environment with specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vacuum impregnation equipment ovens in accordance with established procedures.
  • Load and unload units for dipping and curing processes.
  • Monitor equipment performance and process parameters to ensure product quality.
  • Perform inspections and document process results.
  • Handle materials safely and maintain proper workflow between stages.
  • Communicate production or equipment issues to supervision in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and proper housekeeping practices.

Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred (will provide training).
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Good mechanical understanding and ability to learn technical processes.
  • Comfortable working with heat and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
