We are looking for a Medical Assistant (Bilingual Spanish) for a growing specialty medical practice in Boston, MA. This role will support both clinical and front‐desk operations, ensuring patients receive timely, professional, and well‐coordinated care while assisting providers and external partners.

Job Logistics

Shifts / Hours: 30-35 hours per week with opportunity to grow to 40

Location: Boston, MA (North End near TD Garden)

Work model: Hybrid (3 days in clinic, 2 half‐day remote/on‐call)

Tools/Tech: Phone systems, patient records, MRI coordination workflows

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for patients in person and by phone
  • Perform phlebotomy, blood draws, and take vitals
  • Assist with procedures and patient‐controlled anesthesia workflows
  • Coordinate MRIs, referrals, and follow‐ups
  • Prepare reports and support documentation and care coordination
  • Communicate with law offices regarding referrals and records
  • Maintain accurate records and current certifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • 5+ years of Medical Assistant or similar healthcare experience
  • Phlebotomy and patient‐facing clinical experience
  • Active MA licenses and certifications
  • BLS certification
  • Associate’s Degree

Plusses:

  • Experience with personal injury cases or specialty practices
  • Strong phone presence and high‐volume call handling
  • Care coordination or referral management experience

Compensation

Compensation: $20/hr–$27/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
