Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Full-Time | Direct Hire
- Zephyrhills, FL
- $18 – $23/hr (based on experience)
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No Nights | No Weekends

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a growing healthcare team in Zephyrhills, FL. In this role, you will primarily support a Multispecialty team, helping deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients across a variety of medical specialties.
This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and comprehensive benefits starting on Day One. Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion
- Collect and document vital signs, patient intake, and clinical information in Epic EMR
- Assist providers during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified)
- Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe exam rooms and clinical equipment
Administrative & Clinic Support
- Assist with scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out as needed
- Float between clinic locations across the Zephyrhills area, as assigned
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, clinical regulations, and organizational policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA)
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of CMA experience
- Multispecialty experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to work in one clinic or float between Zephyrhills-area locations
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Compensation & Benefits
$18 – $23/hr (based on experience)
