Job Description

Prime Response Inc. (PRI), is seeking a full-time Warehouse Worker for a long-term government contract located at Federal warehouses in Washington, DC. Pay is $23.84 with single healthcare insurance paid for completely by the company (Family plans available). Please see below for the additional provided comprehensive and competitive benefits.



Duties:

  • Receiving, inspecting, delivering, and loading and unloading trucks
  • Understands warehousing processes and systems
  • Understands inventory management systems
  • Experience with furniture moving
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly dependable and punctual
  • Furniture moves and relocations
  • Transporting bulk items
  • Operating Material Handling Equipment
  • Operating the Warehouse Management System



Requirements

  • Must be able to receive and maintain a government badge for site access
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Forklift Experience preferred
  • Experience with Government contracts is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be capable of standing, bending, and walking for the majority of a workday
  • Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs.)
